this is a tribute to the two large forms by henry moore at the corner of dundas and mccaul, a staple of my toronto and the beholders of great memories + hopes.

these prints are one colour lino prints on coffee-stained stonehenge paper. all prints will be signed. the actual print measures 5.75 x 7.75" and the paper size varies.

please remember that due to the nature of the process, every print is unique- your print might not look exactly as the image shown above.

these zines are 16-pagers with an original insert in each of them. they measure approximately 8.5 x 7". the covers are also unique to each zine and the titles are hand-written/made.

these are the hand-sculpted black elephants made by me originally for my last show, everything we wanted, in our nostalgic future,.

if i could fly, i'd finally see the stars.

this is a painting i did at the end of 2008. that year, i did a lot of flying.. a lot more than i have ever in my life.
often, i would feel a certain ennui when i looked out the airplane window and saw the city lights at night. one time i felt i had a transformative experience where i was in between reality and another world.

it's a fulfilling experience when i can make something that people really relate to- and this is one of the pieces that i regularly, for over a year now- still get emails about. i decided that it would be great to have it available as a print, so that you could have one in your home.

they are 8-colour process giclees on hahnemühle bamboo fine art inkjet paper. the printed image is approximately 12 x 12". there is a border of about half an inch all around. all prints are signed by me.

we're on our way home, four-colour gocco print on wood and white gesso, 4 x 6"

i'm very happy to present we're on our way home. this is a four-colour gocco print on wood, (gold, red, lavender and black) and hand-touched with white gesso. these prints measure approximately 4 x 6" each. no two are absolutely alike as they are hand-registered and printed. a print on the back states the edition number, the title of the print and my signature.

there are only ten of these existing in the world. i no longer have the screens from which they were printed, (i threw them out) and only one artist proof exists, (of which i don't even own). this is an edition of nine prints.

it has been a long time since i released a print- this is my first in what must be almost a year now. it took an image that i really liked and meant a lot to me to want to release this print edition.

lapin lapin was the first painting i did after my move back to toronto. it started on a night when half of my room still resembled a junk yard. i was tired of cleaning and the move had taken a lot out of me. i had not painted then, for what must have been about three weeks; for someone who paints on almost a nightly basis, i was not very happy. i had to paint and i needed to escape somewhere. picking up a tube of yellow paint, i started to squeeze directly on this 48 x 60" canvas taunting me. it became a journey into a world that i felt i had lost for so long; making this painting brought back a feeling reminiscent of childhood discovery.

i now paint with the hope that my work touches people in the same way. that they can look into my pictures and experience something viscerally without the inhibitions of "adulthood" or "being normal".

lapin lapin marked a big turning point in my painting. i hope to share it with you.
