if i could fly, i'd finally see the stars.
this is a painting i did at the end of 2008. that year, i did a lot of flying.. a lot more than i have ever in my life.
often, i would feel a certain ennui when i looked out the airplane window and saw the city lights at night. one time i felt i had a transformative experience where i was in between reality and another world.
it's a fulfilling experience when i can make something that people really relate to- and this is one of the pieces that i regularly, for over a year now- still get emails about. i decided that it would be great to have it available as a print, so that you could have one in your home.

they are 8-colour process giclees on hahnemühle bamboo fine art inkjet paper. the printed image is approximately 12 x 12". there is a border of about half an inch all around. all prints are signed by me.
